28 March 2018

The Bath Racecourse live music series, Lansdown Live will get off to a tuneful start this Friday with performances by Mr. Wilson’s Second Liners and Magerison, including Bristol recording artists, Billy Kinnison-Cook and Samuel Fox.

Bath shoppers were dancing to the tune of revolutionary genre-bashers, Mr. Wilson's Second Liners on Friday lunchtime, as the dynamic six-piece thrilled onlookers with a flash mob-style performance.

Described as New Orleans meets 90s club classics, the uniformed band began their impromptu gig at Bath Spa train station at midday, before performing through South Gate. From here, they moved on to Bristol city centre, starting in Millennium Square at 5pm and working their way along the waterfront.

Also performing on Good Friday will be Magerison, the Bristol based singer-songwriter, Billy Kinnison-Cook performing with Samuel Fox. Currently recording his debut EP, Billy performs a mix of Blues, Reggau and Soul.

Lansdown Live will run on race days throughout the spring and summer months and is set to present a prime opportunity for budding performers to showcase their talents in front of a jam-packed crowd on some of the busiest days in the racing calendar.

We are on the lookout for talented performers to play live at racedays – if that’s you then get in touch today! Click here for more information about Lansdown Live.
